Four employees of Reflex Marine raised over £1,200 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) by taking part in the Castle to Castle mile open water swim off the coast of Falmouth.
Kate Cozens, Rebecca Loto, Amy Teubert and Katy Austin of Reflex Marine trained together for the swim throughout the summer and successfully completed the swim in between 40 and 55 minutes.
The RNLI provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service throughout the UK. The team of four received a great deal of support from the rest of the Reflex Marine team. Parallels can be drawn between Reflex Marine and the RNLI in terms of the mission to save lives at sea. Through the provision of safer offshore transfer solutions, Reflex Marine helps offshore workers to get to and from work safely.
