New FROG-XT Well Received At NSOCLC & Product Open Day

Delegates got the chance to experience being lifting in the FROG-XT first hand.

Our new product the FROG-XT was positively received by operators who attended the product open day which was held around the 19th North Sea Offshore Crane and Lifting Conference (NSOCLC).

The FROG-XT4, the first of the brand new product range to be launched this year, was showcased at our manufacturing facility in Aberdeen. This followed on from our attendance at the NSOCLC where we both exhibited and presented.

The open day was attended by representatives from a variety of major operators who got to learn more about the product and got to see the device being put through it's paces. This included an overview of the key engineering and design changes that have been implemented on this new version of the FROG, a demonstration of the device's MedEvac mode and the new seating arrangements, a tour of the manufacturing facility and an overview of inspection and maintenance procedures.

Delegates were also able to be lifted by crane to get a first hand persective of the FROG-XT.

Positive feedback from the industry was received at both NSOCLC and the open day, with delegates particularly impressed with the design changes that have been made to the new FROG-XT range. Most notably the easy access lifting point as well as the ease of visual inspections of critical parts.

Increased operational parameters also has an important impact for the use of the devices in the North Sea as being able to operate in higher sea states increases the feasibility of using the devices in a wider variety of projects rather than perhaps just for emergency use. The footprint of the device has been optimized for landing storage and shipping which significantly reduces freight costs for the lifetime of the product.

We have received several direct sales enquiries as a result of both NSOCLC and the open day and are excited to launch higher capacity versions of the FROG-XT this year including the FROG-XT6 and FROG-XT10.
