Reflex Marine are delighted to announce that we are the winners of the Safety Award at the 2019 LEEA Awards!
The winners of the LEEA Awards were announced at the LiftEx 2019 Awards Dinner on Wednesday 13th November, and Reflex Marine were presented with the Safety Award for our latest innovation in working at height, STORM-WORK. The Safety Award is intended to recognise ‘organisations that demonstrate products and/or services that provide innovative protection to people from the risk of injury’. We are very proud of this achievement and thrilled to have won a LEEA Award with our first submission.
Safety is at the core of everything Reflex Marine have strived to achieve for the last 30 years, and we are pleased that this focus has been recognised by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association. As a globally recognised body focused on promoting enhanced standards and sustainable development for the Lifting and Safety industry, LEEA are an influential voice in the development and adoption of lifting standards. Reflex Marine's design processes closely follow those standards across a range of our products. Reflex Marine greatly appreciate the acknowledgement of our efforts that this award shows. We are committed to continue to innovate and work towards improving safety of offshore operations.
STORM-WORK was developed in close collaboration with Seaway 7, a company in Subsea 7's Renewables and Heavy Lifting business unit, who had identified the need for a safer and more operationally efficient work access device.
