Reflex Marine To Host Product Demonstration

Following on from the 19th Annual North Sea Crane and Lifting Conference, Reflex Marine will host an open day and product demonstration on Tuesday 29th April to showcase the new FROG-XT.

Following several years of disrupted helicopter services, the offshore industry is growing increasingly aware of the need to implement safe and reliable alternatives for its offshore crew logistics. Operators are also ever more aware that credible alternatives have already been well-established in different parts of the globe and in some of the most demanding operating conditions.

The FROG-XT is an advancement of Reflex Marines industry-leading personnel transfer technologies and the product of more than twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry. FROG-XT provides greater comfort and safety to passengers, wider operating parameters and higher capacity transfers. Its small footprint and compact design makes it easy to store, and more cost effective to ship. Lifting points are now at eye level, making them easier to access and inspect, and a new stretcher mounting system enables rapid deployment in a medical evacuation situation (MedEvac).

The four person FROG-XT was launched in February with positive responses from the wider industry and the first few units have already been dispatched to several major oil operators in Africa. Reflex Marine is looking to launch higher capacity versions of the product, FROG-XT6 and XT-10, to the market later this year.

Victor Suarez of Reflex Marine will present ‘Seven Good Reasons to Embrace Marine Transfer as a Reliable Low Risk Alternative to the Helicopter’ at the upcoming North Sea Offshore Crane & Lifting Conference (NSOCLC) in Aberdeen (April 23 - 25th). Now in its 19th year this conference is considered one of the most important meeting places for the offshore lifting and material handling industry. Victor Suarez’s presentation will take place at 15.45pm on Wednesday 23rd April and Reflex Marine will also be exhibiting at stand number 7.

Following on from the NSOCLC Reflex Marine will provide the opportunity for delegates to attend an open day and product demonstration at its manufacturing facility Woollard & Henry in Aberdeen. The event will take place on Tuesday 29th April from 10.00am till 12.00pm.

Attendees will get the chance to see the FROG-XT4 and learn more about the range from Reflex Marine’s European Sales Manager Charlie House. The product demonstration will include an overview of all the features and benefits of the FROG-XT including converting the device to MedEvac mode. Refreshments to be provided.
